About Stefanie Potts
Stefanie is a passionate educator, devoted wife, and mother of four who believes that learning and storytelling can help people understand one another more deeply.
As a kindergarten teacher and ESL instructor, Stefanie has spent years helping children and adults from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds develop confidence, strengthen communication skills, and discover a love for learning. Her work in the classroom has deepened her appreciation for the unique gifts, experiences, and perspectives each person brings to the world.
Her books grow from that same conviction. Whether she is helping a child learn to pray, preparing a sibling to welcome a new baby, or encouraging parents to affirm the dignity of every life, Stefanie writes with warmth, honesty, and practical compassion.
Beyond the classroom
Inspired by people, cultures, and meaningful connections.
Outside the classroom, Stefanie enjoys baking, traveling, and exploring new cultures through food, traditions, and relationships with people from around the world. These experiences continue to broaden her understanding of others and inspire both her personal and professional life.
Faith also plays an important role in her life. She is actively involved in her church community, where she enjoys serving, growing in faith, and building relationships with others.
Above all, Stefanie treasures time with her family. Their love and support encourage her in all she does. Through teaching, writing, travel, faith, and family life, she seeks to inspire curiosity, compassion, and a deeper appreciation for the people and cultures that make our world so unique.
